Nissan Tekton launched at ₹10.49–18.59 lakh — Duster twin or genuine alternative?

The Tekton is finally here (launched 9 July, deliveries from 20 July). Under the Patrol-inspired skin it IS the new Duster: same platform, same engines — 1.0L turbo (100 hp, 6MT) and 1.3L turbo (163 hp, 6MT/6DCT), 17.8–19.4 km/l claimed. One big difference: NO strong hybrid for the Tekton — that stays Duster-only.
