1. Who we are

Turbo Truth (“we”, “us”) operates a community platform for structured car sales and service reviews in India. Contact: [email protected]. Until a company entity is registered, this policy describes how the operator of Turbo Truth intends to handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and general good practice.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email address, password (hashed by our auth provider), optional display name.
• Review content: text you submit, ratings, optional pricing figures, dealer/location references.
• Optional proof files: invoices/bills you upload. You must blur personal contact details before upload.
• Technical data: basic logs, device/browser type, and security-related signals as needed to run the service.

3. Why we use data (purpose)

• Create and secure your account (including email verification)
• Publish and display reviews you choose to submit
• Verify optional invoices and issue “Verified” badges
• Moderate abuse, spam, and illegal content
• Improve autocomplete and product features
• Respond to support requests

4. Consent & your choices

By registering or submitting content you consent to processing needed to provide Turbo Truth. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing [email protected]. Public reviews may remain in anonymised form where needed for integrity of the forum, subject to applicable law.

5. Invoices & sensitive content

Invoice upload is optional. Do not upload documents with unredacted phone numbers, Aadhaar, full addresses, or other identifiers. Proof files are stored in private storage, visible to you and authorised admins only, for verification purposes.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We use infrastructure processors (for example hosting, database, and email delivery providers) under contractual safeguards. Public reviews are visible to all visitors.

7. Cross-border processing

Depending on hosting region (we recommend Supabase Mumbai when available), data may be processed in India or other locations used by our providers. We will prefer India-region storage where practical.

8. Retention & security

We retain account and review data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and dispute purposes. We apply access controls, HTTPS, and least-privilege admin access. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

9. Children

Turbo Truth is not directed at children under 18. Do not register if you are under the age of digital consent applicable in India.
