Rolls-Royce has officially confirmed that the Spectre Series II will arrive in India this year, bringing mechanical updates to the luxury two-door electric coupe. This update follows more than two years after the initial launch of the battery-powered two-door.

Battery pack and driving range figures

The most significant mechanical change on the Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II is the adoption of a larger 112kWh battery pack. It uses a new battery architecture shared with the i8 while retaining a 400V electric setup. WLTP-certified driving range figures stand at 628km for the standard version and 629km for the Black Badge variant.

Power outputs across variants

Dual motors remain standard with one unit fitted on each axle. The dual-motor setup delivers varying performance depending on the trim level chosen by the buyer.

  • Standard guise develops 601hp and 1,015Nm
  • Black Badge version pushes out 680hp and 1,110Nm in Spirited mode

Customisation choices and exterior styling

Visual changes are minimal since the silhouette remains largely untouched. Because buyers heavily personalise these cars, the manufacturer has added more exterior and interior material choices. The Black Badge trim now features matte black exterior detailing instead of gloss black, applied even to the Spirit of Ecstasy. Inside, the cabin introduces an illuminated dashboard panel featuring 8,108 individual pixels.

Expected pricing and on-road estimates

This upcoming model is expected to command a higher price than the outgoing iteration, which currently retails between Rs 7.5 crore and Rs 9.5 crore. Published estimates peg the upcoming Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II price between Rs 7.80 crore and Rs 8.00 crore ex-showroom. Buyers should factor in substantial local taxes when looking at on-road figures. Estimated on-road pricing for the entry price lands around Rs 8.74 crore in Delhi, Rs 9.05 crore in Maharashtra, Rs 8.97 crore in Tamil Nadu, and Rs 9.28 crore in Karnataka.
