Renault restarts exports to Sri Lanka with Chennai made shipment

Renault India is back in the Sri Lankan export market after a temporary pause during the foreign exchange crisis that had restricted automobile imports. The first batch of 100 Chennai made vehicles has already left the Oragadam facility in Tamil Nadu, with AMW Motors taking charge of local distribution and after sales support.

Which Renault models are in the first shipment

The initial consignment covers the carmaker current domestic lineup rather than high volume production right away. Buyers in the neighbouring market will get access to three familiar nameplates built at the Tamil Nadu plant.
