Bajaj upcoming bike launches and new ADV details

Bajaj is planning a major product push with multiple two-wheeler launches leading up to the festive season. This heavy rollout will impact buyers looking across popular sporty segments and upcoming adventure tourers.

Pulsar range sales and market share

The Pulsar lineup continues to drive massive volumes for the brand across domestic markets. Recent sales figures highlight strong consumer demand and regular buyer interest.

• Ranked 3rd in July with 66156 units sold
• Current market share sits close to 10 percent
• Models like Pulsar N160 S, N160 SS, Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 arrived recently

Expected Pulsar NS updates

Following the recent entries, updated versions of the Pulsar NS series are expected in coming weeks. This lineup includes the NS125, NS160, NS200 and the flagship NS400Z variant.

Volume-oriented models such as the NS125 and NS160 are likely to be refreshed first. These motorcycles rely on a stiffer perimeter frame, underbelly exhaust setups, and high-revving engines geared for strong top-end delivery.

First Bajaj adventure motorcycle details

Test mules point to an upcoming adventure motorcycle positioned in the 250cc segment. This model is expected to debut globally in Brazil around Christmas with an Indian release anticipated earlier.

Reports suggest it may use the 249cc air and oil-cooled engine from the Pulsar N250. Expected hardware includes a fully digital TFT instrument console, conventional telescopic forks, a rear monoshock, and a high-mounted exhaust to compete against bikes like the Hero Xpulse 210, Suzuki V-Strom SX, and Yezdi Adventure.

Production capacity expansion plans

To meet rising buyer demand, production capacity is targeted to scale up from 72 lakh units per annum to over 90 lakh units per annum. Both brownfield expansion and greenfield facility options are currently under evaluation.

Sports motorcycle sales recorded a year-on-year growth of about 50 percent during the April to June quarter. Double-digit growth was also noted across the Pulsar, Avenger, and Dominar ranges.
