Maruti price hike from August 2026 — how much more will you actually pay?

Maruti is raising prices again from August 2026, by up to ₹30,000 depending on the model. That is the second increase in three months, which is what makes this one worth paying attention to rather than shrugging at.

A few things worth being clear about, because the headline number gets misread every time:

- "Up to ₹30,000" is the ceiling, not the average. The smaller cars usually take a much smaller increase than the top of the range. - It applies to ex-showroom prices. On-road, the increase is slightly larger, because insurance and registration are calculated on the higher figure. - Bookings already placed are usually honoured at the old price only if the car is delivered before the change. That is a dealer-level decision, not a company-wide promise, so get it in writing.

If you are close to buying, the practical question is whether the discount on offer this month is bigger than the increase coming next month. Quite often it is, and waiting costs you money rather than saving it.

What are dealers telling you locally? If anyone has a delivery date near the end of the month, it is worth confirming which price your invoice will be raised at.
