Kawasaki Z300 India Launch Date Bookings And Price Expectations

Kawasaki India has finally started the process for the Z300. They showed the new naked bike to select dealers in Bengaluru and bookings are set to open on the 19th of October. The formal launch is expected the very next day on the 20th of October 2026. This is for anyone looking at the Ninja 300 or the KTM 390 Duke right now.

The timeline is tight once bookings open. You should expect the booking window to fill up fast since the Ninja 300 already has a loyal following in this segment. Team Green is positioning this as their most accessible Z supernaked model.

Kawasaki Z300 expected price and on road cost

Pricing is not confirmed yet but the expected ex-showroom figure is near ₹3.00 lakh. That would make it cheaper than the current Ninja 300 which sits at ₹3.34 lakh ex-showroom. On the road it will vary by state tax.

• Karnataka around ₹3.48 lakh
• Maharashtra around ₹3.39 lakh
• Delhi around ₹3.27 lakh
• Tamil Nadu around ₹3.36 lakh

These are estimates based on the expected ex-showroom figure and local taxes.

Kawasaki Z300 features and engine details

The bike is built on the Ninja 300 platform so the 296cc parallel twin engine should carry over. That unit makes 39 bhp and 26.1 Nm with a six speed gearbox. The big difference is the cockpit since the Z300 gets a TFT cluster with smartphone connectivity which the Ninja 300 lacks.

It will come in Green and Black colour options. We are hoping for USD front forks and LED lighting but those are not confirmed.

Kawasaki Z300 rivals in India

The main competition will come from the KTM 390 Duke and the TVS Apache RTR 310. The Aprilia Tuono 457 is also a multi cylinder rival in this space. If the price lands right this could take sales away from the Ninja 300 itself.
