Haryana petrol pumps getting 775 cameras for old vehicles in NCR

Haryana authorities are rolling out a major surveillance push across four NCR districts to catch older vehicles coming to fuel stations. Anyone driving a petrol or diesel car past its permissible age limit in these areas will soon trigger automated alerts.

The new high-tech automated number plate recognition units are being installed directly at fuel retail outlets. These districts include the high-traffic NCR zones bordering Delhi where vehicular congestion and pollution levels remain under constant scrutiny.
