If you follow global car auctions, you might have seen a rather unusual Ford EcoSport currently up for sale with a unique modification. This particular vehicle has been converted into a six-wheeler with a stretched rear body, bringing a bizarre twist to a model many Indian enthusiasts still miss.

Current bid stands at USD 5,800 which translates to roughly Rs 5.5 lakh with just two days left before the auction closes. This 2019 model has multiple previous owners and shows 47,000 miles or about 75,000 km on the odometer, with the current owner adding only 500 miles.

What changed in this six-wheel conversion

Modifying a subcompact SUV into a six-wheeler required extensive fabrication beyond just adding an extra axle. The builder extended the chassis from the rear, supported by additional bodywork and a custom subframe finished in black paint with white pinstriping.
