Mahindra XEV 9e and XEV 9S get BaaS ownership option

Mahindra has extended its Battery-as-a-Service programme to the XEV 9e and the XEV 9S, completing the rollout of BaaS across all of its born-electric lineup. If the upfront price of these SUVs was holding you back, this changes the maths worth paying attention to.

Under BaaS, you buy the vehicle without the battery pack, which brings the entry price down to Rs 12.65 lakh for the XEV 9S and Rs 13.90 lakh for the XEV 9e, both ex-showroom.
