The shift away from Vagator came about last year because local zilla parishad election dates clashed with the festival's usual schedule, leaving organisers little choice but to find another venue. Panchgani clearly worked well enough to get a repeat booking for 2026, though there's no confirmation yet on whether it stays the permanent host beyond this edition.
