Hero electric motorcycle launch timeline confirmed for 2027

It looks like the wait for an electric motorcycle from the country's largest two-wheeler maker is going to take a bit longer. Hero MotoCorp has officially confirmed that its first electric motorcycle will hit the market in 2027.

While the brand already has a presence in the electric scooter space, moving into geared or non-geared electric motorcycles is a different challenge altogether. Many buyers have been waiting to see how legacy manufacturers tackle battery packaging and daily commuting needs in a proper motorcycle format.

Since we are still a couple of years away from seeing the final product in showrooms, do you think waiting till 2027 is too late given how fast other brands are moving?
