Yamaha Crosser 2027 Gets New Features and Safety Updates

Yamaha has updated the Crosser for 2027 in Brazil, adding connectivity, more LED lighting and a new safety feature without changing the core engine package. For Indian buyers watching the growing adventure bike space, the interesting part is that Bajaj is also preparing an ADV for Brazil before the end of 2026.

Yamaha Crosser 2027 price and variants

The Crosser continues in two versions, S and Z, with the main differences being styling and finishes. The Crosser S ABS Connected costs BRL 22,890, while the Crosser Z ABS Connected is priced at BRL 23,090.

The S uses a conventional front fender plus a smaller raised section, along with matte black engine and swingarm finishes. It is available in Black Eclipse and Fire Red. The Z gets a larger raised front fender, a silver-finished engine and Pure Grey as an exclusive colour, with Fire Red also available.

New LED and Bluetooth features

The 2027 Crosser now gets LED turn indicators at both ends and an LED tail lamp, joining the existing LED projector headlamp and DRLs. Bluetooth connectivity comes through Yamaha Motor On, giving riders access to fuel-efficiency information, route history, maintenance schedules and the last paired location.

The digital console can also show incoming call and message notifications and the connected phone's battery level. A side-stand engine cut-off switch has been added as part of the safety equipment.

Bajaj ADV could be the bigger rival

The more interesting comparison for Indian riders is with Bajaj's upcoming ADV. Bajaj says units are already in Brazil, where teams are working on parts development and homologation, with an introduction expected before the end of 2026.

The Bajaj test motorcycle has been seen in India with a front beak, wire-spoke wheels, high-mounted exhaust and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. Its production name and engine details are still not confirmed, although the Trekker name has been trademarked and a 250cc engine based on the Pulsar N250 is one possibility.
