Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler Launch Date And What We Know

Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler is set to enter the Indian market as a pickup based on the Scorpio N, with deliveries expected to begin in April 2027. It is aimed at buyers who want a lifestyle pickup for outdoor use, while also keeping the Scorpio name and familiar SUV-based proportions.

Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler testing continues

The latest test vehicle was spotted in Coimbatore and appears close to the production design shown earlier. The pickup gets a separate load bed behind the rear doors, while the cabin retains the Scorpio N-inspired shape.

The visible exterior details include LED tail lights, a new tailgate with MAHINDRA lettering, a large front grille, sleeker LED headlights and vertically positioned Ice Cube fog lights. Roof racks and chunky wheel-arch cladding are also part of the design.

What can the load bed carry?

The load area is one of the main reasons to look at the Scorpio Lifestyler instead of a regular SUV. The published details indicate enough space for items such as bicycles, motorcycles or a canoe, while the roof racks add another option for carrying outdoor equipment.

The pickup also gets 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with 255-section tyres and frequency-dependent dampers. Four-wheel drive with terrain modes is expected to be available as an option.

Scorpio Lifestyler cabin features

The cabin is planned with a large portrait-style infotainment display and a landscape-oriented TFT instrument cluster. Other listed equipment includes:

The powertrain options are expected to come from Mahindra's existing range, including the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engines. Manual and automatic gearboxes are planned, with the 4X4 system available at least as an option.

The Scorpio Lifestyler is not on sale yet, so buyers considering a lifestyle pickup will have to wait for deliveries to begin in April 2027. With testing still underway, the production version should be the one to watch before making any purchase decision.
