Honda Elevate facelift launch date and expected new features

Honda Elevate buyers may have a reason to hold off on booking the current SUV, with the facelift expected to debut in India in early October 2026. The update is mainly about styling and equipment, while the mechanical package is expected to stay unchanged.

Expected exterior changes

The Elevate facelift could get revised LED lighting, a redesigned grille, updated bumpers and a fresh design for its 17-inch alloy wheels. These are useful changes for buyers who like the current SUV but feel its design and equipment need a refresh.

Honda Elevate cabin features

The cabin is expected to retain the existing dashboard layout, but Honda could introduce a new cabin theme and revised upholstery. More importantly, several features currently missing from the Elevate could be added.

• A powered co-driver’s seat is currently missing
• Dual-zone climate control is currently missing

Engine and hybrid question

The facelift is expected to continue with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 121hp and 145Nm. Buyers should still get the choice of a 6-speed manual or 7-step CVT automatic.

The bigger question is the City’s strong hybrid powertrain. The City gets a 1.5-litre hybrid producing 126hp and 253Nm, but there is no indication yet that Honda will add it to the Elevate facelift. That could matter for buyers specifically looking for better fuel efficiency from a midsize SUV.

Should Elevate buyers wait for October?

The current Elevate starts at ₹11.81 lakh ex-showroom, and the facelift is expected to cost more than the existing model. For someone buying immediately, the decision is therefore between getting the current SUV now or waiting for the equipment and styling changes expected in October.
