Yamaha R15 V4 has just become a little easier to spec if you want a quickshifter without moving to the R15 M. The unidirectional quickshifter is now available on Racing Blue and Matte Pearl White as well as Intensity White, giving regular R15 V4 buyers more choice.
R15 V4 quickshifter price
The R15 V4 in Racing Blue, Matte Pearl White and Intensity White costs Rs 1,79,500 ex-showroom with the quickshifter. Without it, the price is Rs 1,74,850. That makes the quickshifter a Rs 4,650 addition, which is a relatively small premium if you specifically want clutchless upshifts.

What engine does R15 V4 get?
There is no mechanical update with this change. The R15 V4 continues with its 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder SOHC 4-valve petrol engine, 6-speed manual gearbox and 141 kg kerb weight. Published specifications list 18.1 bhp and 14.2 Nm, while the verified specification data also records 18.4 PS and 14.2 Nm.
The bike has an 11-litre fuel tank, 815 mm seat height and claimed mileage of 51.4 kmpl. It also gets disc brakes at both ends, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and self-start.
