Mahindra Thar Roxx update DaVinci suspension and new alloys
Illustration generated by Turbo Truth.
Spy shots of the Mahindra Thar Roxx are circulating again and this time the changes are under the skin as much as on the outside. Owners who bought the five-door SUV expecting a soft-roader feel might see some welcome tweaks coming down the line.
New alloy wheels spotted on Roxx
The most visible change in the latest pictures is the wheel design. The camouflage around the rims hides alloys that look very close to the ones on the Thar OG. Exterior styling otherwise stays familiar with the circular headlamps and five-door proportions we already know.
DaVinci suspension coming to Roxx
The bigger news is beneath the bodywork. Spy shots confirm the DaVinci suspension system is being fitted here, similar to what is on the Thar OG. It builds on the frequency-dependent damping already in the Roxx with revised internal valving to balance bump absorption and body control. This matters most for the Roxx since it is the family-oriented five-door option.
What owners rate the Roxx
Before waiting for updates, it is worth looking at how current buyers feel. Our pooled figure from 918 owners rates the Thar Roxx 4.7 out of 5. That is a strong score for a vehicle that mixes off-road hardware with daily family use.
Variants and specs to know
The current lineup spans MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L and AX7L trims plus the Star Edition. Engine choices remain a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel with six-speed manual or torque-converter automatic. All variants meet BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. You can pick from Tango Red, Stealth Black or Everest White among the available colours.

Have you noticed the ride quality on your Roxx over broken roads and would you pay extra for the suspension update?
