Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 bookings have been temporarily paused after the first six months of planned production capacity sold out. For buyers looking to book the new adventure motorcycle now, this means waiting for the company to add production capacity before fresh orders reopen.

Royal Enfield has stopped taking new bookings for the moment because demand has gone beyond its initial production plans. The company is increasing manufacturing capacity and says bookings will reopen once additional output is available. There is currently no planned price hike when bookings resume.

The Himalayan 440 was launched on September 4, 2026. It uses a 443cc single-cylinder air-and-oil-cooled engine producing 25.4 bhp and 34 Nm, with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
