Skoda price hike from October 2026: what buyers should know

Skoda is increasing prices across its India range from October 1, 2026, with the hike capped at Rs 20,000. The revision applies to the Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq, so anyone planning a Skoda purchase around the festive season will need to account for the change.

Skoda price hike from October 1

The increase will be up to 1.2 percent at the ex-showroom level, although the actual amount will depend on the model and variant. Skoda has attributed the revision to rising input and operational costs.

The company has not yet released the revised model-wise or variant-wise prices, so buyers cannot currently calculate the exact increase for a particular version. The important point is that no model in the current India portfolio has been excluded from the announced revision.

Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq affected

The entire current range is included in the October revision:

• Kylaq will get a model and variant-dependent increase
• Slavia will get a model and variant-dependent increase
• Kushaq will get a model and variant-dependent increase
• Kodiaq will also be covered by the revision

The maximum increase is capped at Rs 20,000. The announced 1.2 percent figure is therefore a maximum rate, not a confirmed increase for every version.

Slavia facelift arrives on October 6

The timing is particularly relevant for Slavia buyers because the price revision begins five days before the facelift is scheduled to launch on October 6. Production of the updated sedan has already started at Skoda’s Chakan plant, and bookings are open.

That gives buyers two separate things to consider if they are looking at the Slavia now: the upcoming facelift and the October 1 price revision. The revised price list for individual variants has not been announced yet.

Skoda had already raised prices in January

This is Skoda’s latest price revision of 2026. The January increase affected the Slavia, Kylaq and Kushaq, with the Slavia rising by up to Rs 34,000, the Kylaq by up to Rs 19,000 and the Kushaq by Rs 5,000-7,000.

With the latest increase arriving just before the festive season, the final on-road cost will depend on the specific model, variant and local charges once the new prices are released.
