Gadkari proposes graded license points system for improper behaviour

Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has proposed a graded license points system to penalise drivers who engage in improper behaviour on the road. This system could lead to the suspension or cancellation of driving licenses for repeat traffic offenders, giving buyers more reason to consider the character of a used vehicle's previous owner.
