New Jaguar Type 01 Debuts – 1016 BHP, 720 Km Range, India Launch Exp 2027

The new Jaguar Type 01 has been unveiled, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the British brand. The electric grand tourer features a three-motor powertrain, producing 1016 bhp and 1365 Nm of torque, and has a claimed range of up to 720 km. The Type 01 measures over 5.2 metres in length and has a wheelbase of around 3.2 metres. It features 23-inch wheels and a claimed drag coefficient of 0.23. The car has a battery with 118 kWh of usable capacity and supports DC fast charging at up to 350 kW. It also features a 24-inch OLED display and a seven-inch vertical touchscreen. The Jaguar Type 01 is expected to launch in India in 2027, with order books opening in early 2027 and initial deliveries planned for the second half of the year.
