Sedan Sales Sep 2026, Q3 CY – Dzire, Aura, Amaze, Aeris, Virtus, Verna, Slavia, City

Sedan sales in India rose 5.32% year-on-year in September 2026, with a total of 35,119 units sold. The top three models were the Maruti Dzire with 17,754 units, the Hyundai Aura with 7,530 units, and the Honda Amaze with 3,286 units. The Maruti Dzire retained its lead with a 50.55% share of the listed sedan volumes, despite a decline of 11.40% from September 2025. The Hyundai Aura ranked second with a 6.85% share, while the Honda Amaze secured a 9.36% share. The recently launched Tata Aeris recorded 2,406 units, taking a 6.85% share, while the Volkswagen Virtus finished fifth with 1,172 units. The Hyundai Verna posted a 5.10% increase to 762 units, while the Skoda Slavia declined 47.05% to 709 units. The Honda City grew 15.73% to 574 units, while the Toyota Camry recorded 240 units, up 75.18% from 137 units.
