Kia India Sales August 2026: Volumes Rise 48% to 29,042 Units; Seltos Leads

Kia India has reported a 48% year-on-year increase in sales for August 2026, with a total of 29,042 units sold. This growth is attributed to the Seltos, which sold 11,716 units, followed by the Sonet with 9,048 units and the Carens with 6,093 units. The Seltos accounted for 40.3% of Kia's monthly total, while the Sonet contributed 31.2%. The Syros saw significant growth, with 1,742 units sold, a 466% increase from the same period last year. The Kia Sorento also made its debut in the Indian market, with 365 units shipped in its first month. The Carnival sold 78 units, a 56% increase from the same period last year. The Seltos was the largest contributor to Kia's sales, followed by the Sonet and Carens. The three models together accounted for 92.5% of Kia's August volumes.
