MG Cyberster, M9 now available with BaaS

MG has introduced a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) scheme for the Cyberster and M9 EVs. The BaaS scheme reduces the upfront cost of the Cyberster by Rs 10.01 lakh and the M9 by Rs 9.95 lakh, but asks for a battery rental fee of Rs 8 per km. The MG Cyberster is priced at Rs 72.49 lakh with the BaaS scheme, and the M9 is priced at Rs 69.99 lakh. The Cyberster has a claimed range of 580km, a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 510hp and 725Nm, and a 77kWh battery pack. The M9 has a claimed range of 548km, a front-axle-mounted electric motor producing 245hp and 350Nm, and a 90kWh battery pack.
