Mercedes Benz Gurugram Studio opens with AMG e-bikes from 4.20 lakh

Mercedes-Benz India has opened its first urban brand Studio at DLF One Horizon Centre in Gurugram, bringing vehicle displays and a Lavonne Café together under one roof. The site also marked the debut of the concept AMG GT XX and three new Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team electric bicycles for Indian buyers.

What the Mercedes AMG e-bikes cost

The brand has partnered with EMotorad to assemble and distribute three bicycle editions across India, with MRP inclusive of GST.

• Entry city edition priced at 4.20 lakh featuring a Shimano CUES 9-speed drivetrain and rigid alloy fork
• Mid variant priced at 5.70 lakh adding Pirelli Angel Urban GT semi-slick tyres and an extra battery
• Top rallye edition priced at 7.60 lakh using a Pinion C1.9 gearbox and 80 mm front suspension
• All three models use a 250W rear hub motor limited to 25 km/h with Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus modes

Concept AMG GT XX technical highlights

The Gurugram opening featured the first Indian display of the concept AMG GT XX technology demonstrator. Mercedes-Benz quotes a combined peak output exceeding 1,000 kW or 1,360 hp from its three axial flux motors. The concept is designed for future production models based on the AMG Electric Architecture.

Service and availability details

Pre-orders for the electric bicycles are currently open with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in mid-September. EMotorad will manage assembly alongside warranty support and spare parts through a service network spanning 55 locations in India. The company plans to expand this Studio format to other metropolitan markets.
