Terrible Roads to Terrific Places: The Road to Kibber in the new Renault Duster

The Renault Duster was taken on a road trip to Kibber, a village in Himachal Pradesh's Spiti Valley, which is over 4,200 metres above sea level. The journey began in Chandigarh and covered a distance of roughly 400km. The Duster's 700-litre boot was able to swallow all the camera equipment and luggage without complaint. The car was equipped with a 10.1-inch infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, which handled navigation and other functions. The Duster's turbo-petrol engine, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic, made light work of the highway and the foothills. The car's ground clearance of 212mm and suspension strength allowed it to navigate rocks and broken surfaces with ease. The Duster was able to handle the challenging terrain, including deep ruts, gravel, and water crossings, without any major issues.
