India's wheeled construction equipment market recorded a 31.5% year-on-year growth in August 2026, with total retail sales reaching 5,166 units, compared with 3,930 units in August 2025. JCB India dominated the segment, accounting for 50.43% of the market, while Action Construction Equipment and Escorts Kubota occupied the next two positions. The top three players in the market - JCB India, Action Construction Equipment, and Escorts Kubota - controlled approximately 69.2% of the market during August 2026. JCB India registered 2,605 units, up from 2,126 units a year earlier, translating into growth of approximately 22.5%.
